Prepared Childbirth | 1 day class | In-Person

Learn what to expect during childbirth including delivery options, pain relief methods and how your support person can help you.

Be ready for your baby's arrival with this 5 1/2 hr. comprehensive class. Invite your partner or support person and learn what to expect before, during and after your delivery. Topics include:

This in-person class incorporates information from a pelvic floor therapist that will instruct you on exercises that will assist in helping you have a successful vaginal delivery.
The stages of labor
Types of delivery, including vaginal delivery, Cesarean section and vaginal delivery after Cesarean (VBAC)
Labor pain relief methods, including epidurals and natural comfort measures

This class has the identical content as the 2-part Friday/Saturday class.

This in-person class is held on the campus of Ascension Saint Alexius in building 5 on the lower level.

Registration includes both baby's mother and her partner.
